Mission and objectives

The mission of Youth Unis-Vers (d'Unis-Vers Jeunes) is to develop activities of prevention, to promote a healthy and safe lifestyle for youth and to set up direct assistance services to meet the needs of troubled youth.

Services offered 

Youth Unis-Vers  offers two services : Enfantaisie and Travail de milieu.

The Enfantaisie service brings together children with diverse risk factors and offers a reassuring environment allowing them to develop their self-esteem, to improve their social skills and to increase their chances of success in training. The Enfantaisie homes in Cap-Chat and Sainte-Anne-des-Monts offer help with homework and classes, as well as workshops on self-esteem for children from 6 to 11 years old.

The Travail de milieu service consists of creating and maintaining reliable links with young people in their diverse social environments (beach, street, party, evening, school, arena, convenience store, etc.).

The service is offered outside of the network of formal assistance. The workers of the Travail de milieu offer reception, listening, support and reference to troubled youth, 12 years and over, in the evenings and on weekends. They serve as a bridge between the young people and the resources of the Travail de milieu. The covered territory extends from Cap-Chat to Madeleine.

The office is open Monday to Friday, from 830 am to 4 pm
