Mission and objectives

The Démêlée is a non-profit organization, striving for the defence of rights and the elimination of illiteracy. Its prime objective is to offer to any person having difficulty in comprehending the exercising of their rights ; a helpful place for analysis of their case, information and accompaniment. The Démêlée is also a place of learning. Clients will be taught empowerment, responsibility and given the capacity to assert themselves in respect to their rights. The centre offers to everyone an occasion to develop knowledge about their rights and an opportunity to express themselves in a context of mutual support.
