In this municipality, you will find one of the three lighthouses to be visited when touring the Haute-Gaspésie. In addition a museum and a local souvenir shop; visitors will be delighted by the view of the sea from this enchanting setting.

Located 11 km within the forest, you will be able to visit a most unique place; cut into the rock is an Atlantic salmon underground migratory pass, the longest in the world. Also called Le Grand Sault, this natural wonder attracts the curious, as there is nothing more impressive than to see the salmon try to go up this fall. Salmon fishermen consider the Madeleine River as a place of worship!

A marina and a general-purpose and fishing harbour can accommodate visitors of the Route Bleue.  Who knows, maybe you will be able to meet a fisherman who will tell you of his latest catch. Also situated there is a well equipped respite for kayakers.

In the valley of the village of Manche-d'Épée, thanks to a favourable microclimate, the area shelters an ecological reserve and houses small scale agriculture and the cultivation of fruit trees.  

In Ste-Madeleine, you can also find lodging for all tastes, a regional restoration and a craft industry.
