 The Haute-Gaspésie is characterized by its landscape between sea and mountains, it is in the municipality of Mount-Saint-Pierre that you will find the most striking breathtaking panorama. In fact, the valley, the plate, the mountain and the bay are in perfect harmony, just amazing ! During the summer, the extreme sports lovers have the possibility of jumping literally in the airs on board of hang gliders, parapentes in tandem, enjoying the site from a bird view, flying around Mont-Saint Pierre majestic mountain and sea.
Another delightful activitie is to climb the Mount-St-Pierre with the assistance of our pedestrian path providing nice views on cliffs and surroundings. You can also travel by bus 4 X 4 to reach the top, thus allowing you to contemplate this splendid horizon.
The municipality offers a wooded camp-site of 163 sites with swimming pool and tennis. One also finds there several offers of lodging and restoration. The municipality offers also various pedestrian motoneige and VTT, bicycle, hiking trails. To admire the beauty of this small village, nothing is worth more than walking our wonderful beach.
The amateurs of air sports will have a choice of activities very diversified in the Chic-Chocs whose registered office is located at Mount-Saint-Pierre, entry of the National park of Gaspésie.
The coasting flight capitale in the East of Canada carries out at each year the Festival of the coasting flight where several air and musical shows are delivered. In winter, ice climbing makes it both challenging and fun. This activity, now in full expansion, has accomodated for a few years more than a hundreds of amateurs.
