Emergency Repair Program (ERP)
The emergency repair program (ERP) aims to help low income owner-residents to complete urgent repairs needed to correct any major defects of the dwelling they live in as their primary residence.
Financial Aid
The ERP supplies the property owner with financial assistance to a maximum of 3 250$ in subsidies. The requests for financial assistance will be offered until the budget allocated by the SHQ runs out.
Criteria of Eligibility
The ERP is addressed to the owner-occupant of a single-family residence. The incomes of households should not exceed the maximum established by the SHQ and the SCHL.
The standardized value of the residence cannot exceed 35 000 $ of standardized value (excluding the land).
The work must be carried out by a licensed contractor with appropriate credentials approved by the Régie du bâtiment du Québec
Territory of the applied program
The ERP applies to all municipal territories with less than 5 000 inhabitants.
