The Arts Centre has as a mandate to promote, distribute, develop and grant access to visual and performing arts, while cultivating the expression and development of the local cultural identity.
It continues to pursue, among other things, the following goals: present expositions and shows, offer support for cultural organizations and artists, and to facilitate access to many forms of artistic expression
